The state purpose of the Association is as printed in the by-laws:

The objectives of the Association are to advance and safeguard the business interests of its members:

• To promote standards of ethics of its members and the tire industry
• To promote harmony, goodwill, and understanding among its members
• To encourage an exchange of ideas, technical knowledge, and retailing/wholesaling procedures
• To improve the quality and standards of the products in the new tire and automotive industry

Mission Statement - Our mission is to serve as a benefit to all independent tire and automotive service dealers along with their suppliers and employees.

Goals - To be an asset to your members and our communities by assisting with programs, education, and by providing valuable information.

Purposes - Develop a system that provides our members with such a high level of exchange that it will be for supplier members and members at large to refer their customers and counterparts to the LITDA with confidence.
